Self-Defense In Pee-Wee Gun Incident.

Here is another story documenting that you can never tell what is going to happen if an incident goes into Court.  The Pennsylvania Codes about off-limit carry follows the article.



Here are the Pennsylvania codes regarding off-limit carrying. 

Title 18 Section 913 Possession of firearm or other dangerous weapon in court facility.

(a) Offense defined. A  person commits an offense if he:

1. knowingly possesses a firearm or other dangerous weapon in a court facility or knowingly causes a firearm or other
dangerous weapon to be present in a court facility; or

2. knowingly possesses a firearm or other dangerous weapon in a court facility with the intent that the firearm or other
dangerous weapon be used in the commission of a crime or knowingly causes a firearm or other dangerous weapon to be
present in a court facility with the intent that the firearm or other dangerous weapon be used in the commission of a crime.

Title 18 § 912 Possession of weapon on school property.

(a) Definition.Notwithstanding  the definition of "weapon" in section 907 (relating to possessing instruments of crime),
"weapon" for purposes of this section shall include but not be limited to any knife, cutting instrument, cutting tool, nunchuck
stick, firearm, shotgun, rifle and any other tool, instrument or implement capable of inflicting serious bodily injury.

(b) Offense defined.A person commits a misdemeanor of the first degree if he possesses a weapon in the buildings of, on
the grounds of, or in any conveyance providing transportation to or from any elementary or secondary publiclyfunded
educational institution, any elementary or secondary private school licensed by the Department of Education or any
elementary or secondary parochial school.

(c) Defense.It
shall be a defense that the weapon is possessed and used in conjunction with a lawful supervised school
activity or course or is possessed for other lawful purpose. § 11.215. Weapons and hunting. State Parks in the owner's building on a leased campsite, in the owner's residence, or in the owner's vehicle or trailer.

Title 24 §2525 Valid 2/1/07. Persons hunting, including Archery Hunting, can carry a defensive handgun concealed if  licensed to do so by the state of PA or have a permit that PA Honors.

Allegheny Co. Ordinance. § 70539.

Weapons and firearms.

A. No person, except law enforcement officers, post office and custom officials, or members of the Armed Forces of the
United States on active duty, shall carry any weapon, firearm, explosive or inflammable material on the airport premises
except by specific direction of the Director, the Superintendent of Police or their designees.

B. No person shall transport any weapon or firearm except when it is properly enclosed for shipment and is not in the
person's manual possession.

Per Capitol Police: No weapons, firearms, explosives, knives, mace, pepper spray, or hazardous materials allowed in the
Capitol Complex. The Capitol Complex consists of the capitol and associated buildings and grounds.
